Hi there!

Welcome! I’m Liz :)

Let’s talk travel, remote work, digital nomading and running a business!

6 Gadgets I Can't Live Without When on the Move

6 Gadgets I Can't Live Without When on the Move

Away Luggage: Okay, so I'm not sure if it's really considered a gadget but it DOES charge you devices and I certainly can't travel without it, so it counts!! I’m OBSESSED with this brand. Not only is it the best suitcase I have found to replace the backpack I used to use, but it’s also a company run by my biggest girl boss crushes/ influences Steph Korey and Jen Rubio. They are absolutely killing the e-commerce world and I admire their work, vision and attitude about running a business so much. I could go on forever about them so I’ll put a pin it for now and save my fan girling for a separate blog post. But you definitely need an Away suitcase! You won't regret it.

Bose In Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones: When I first started out I was using the big Bose headphones but I found they were a bit too big and bulky for my travels. Now I use the Bose In Ear noise cancelling and I love them. A must have for planes and working in coffee shops. They don’t take up any room in your bag and are lightweight and easy to wear.

Roost Wireless Keyboard and Trackpad Combo: Rome wasn’t built in a day and neither is a company. Having this keyboard and trackpad makes long hours on the computer so much easier and they travel really well. The Roost combo is so great- it's like bringing a home office with you everywhere you go!

Packing Cubes: Such a must have for me!  I’m a total nerd when it comes to organization and packing cubes are such a great way to keep everything separated and organized. You can get them anywhere now but Ebags are my tried and true brand. You can get them on amazon in sets of three or six.

All in 1 adapter: If you’re going to be hopping from place to place, country to country it’s important to have an adapter, and ideally you have one that  an all in one. I use this one -- super affordable and versatile, what could be better?

Anker charger: You definitely don’t want to get caught in a foreign place with a dead phone or laptop. I’m not super picky about what brand, just as long as it works. I use this Anker one, it's really dependable and a great accessory to have. Always be prepared!
